Right across the street from the main bakery is Ttiso Bakery, a separate shop specializing in Seongsimdang’s famous fried soboro bread.
If you’re planning to bring gifts home, this is actually the easiest place to shop.
Instead of waiting inside the crowded main bakery again, you can quickly buy beautifully packaged gift boxes here.
One tip, though: if you want different flavors like sweet potato or leek-filled soboro, visit earlier in the day.
By the afternoon, only the classic version may still be available.

Absolutely.
Even if you’re not usually the type of person who visits bakeries while traveling, Seongsimdang feels more like a local attraction than an ordinary bakery.
