Looking for a buffet restaurant in Busan that actually feels worth the price?

During my recent trip around Busan Centum City, I visited Grand Apple Busan for a late weekday lunch — and honestly, this place feels very different depending on what time you visit.

Some parts were impressive, while others felt slightly disappointing compared to my previous dinner visit.

If you are planning a family gathering, special occasion, or buffet date in Busan, here’s my honest review of Grand Apple Centum City.

Why Grand Apple Busan Is Popular

Located in Centum City, Grand Apple is one of the most well-known premium buffet restaurants in Busan.

Many locals visit for:

  • family dinners
  • birthday celebrations
  • wedding parties
  • large group gatherings

The restaurant itself is huge, spacious, and much more upscale than typical buffet restaurants in Korea.

Because it is connected to wedding halls and event spaces, the atmosphere feels more luxurious than casual.

Location & Parking

Grand Apple Busan is located in Centum City, one of the busiest areas in Busan.

The location is convenient if you are already visiting:

  • Shinsegae Department Store
  • BEXCO
  • Haeundae area

Parking is available inside the building, and the underground parking lot was surprisingly spacious.

If you are visiting with parents or large groups, parking convenience is definitely a plus.

Lunch Time Matters More Than You Think

This was probably the biggest thing I noticed during my visit.

Grand Apple operates on a time-slot buffet system, and I visited during the second lunch session around 2 PM after finishing screen golf nearby.

Honestly?
The experience probably would have been much better during the first lunch session.

Since there were fewer guests dining during the later time slot, food rotation became slower, and several dishes felt less fresh or slightly cold.

Compared to my previous weekend dinner experience, the quality difference was noticeable.

So if you are planning to visit Grand Apple Busan, I strongly recommend booking a peak dining time instead of a late lunch session.

Price & Reservation Tips

We visited during holiday lunch time and paid:

₩84,000 KRW per person

Even for later lunch sessions, the price stays the same.

There are no discounts for entering later, which is something to keep in mind.

Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends.

Popular lunch and dinner slots fill up quickly, particularly for family events and celebrations.

The Best Menu Items You Should Try

' If you visit Grand Apple Busan, go straight for the lamb chops and steak first.

These are clearly the signature menu items here.

The lamb chops are grilled fresh over charcoal and served continuously throughout the service.

There is usually a serving limit per round, but if you revisit the station a few times, you can easily enjoy more.

The overall buffet selection includes:

  • seafood
  • Korean dishes
  • grilled meats
  • salads
  • desserts
  • hot foods

The variety itself is definitely one of the restaurant’s strengths.

Des sert Was Surprisingly Good

One thing that exceeded my expectations was the dessert section.

There were many different cake options, but the real highlight for me was actually the ice cream near the entrance.

Especially:

  • chocolate flavor
  • strawberry flavor

I went back for refills twice 😂

Even though some hot dishes felt slightly underwhelming during the late lunch session, the dessert section stayed consistently satisfying.

Atmosphere & Seating

The restaurant feels spacious and comfortable overall.

Tables are well spaced apart, which makes it ideal for:

  • family dining
  • birthday parties
  • large groups
  • parents gathering
  • special celebrations

After visiting, I completely understood why many locals choose this place for family events and wedding-related gatherings.

Final Thoughts

Grand Apple Busan is still one of the better premium buffet options in Busan Centum City.

However, timing matters a lot here.

✔ Spacious premium atmosphere
✔ Great for family gatherings
✔ Lamb chops are worth trying
✔ Dessert section was excellent
✔ Earlier lunch or dinner sessions are highly recommended

If you want the best possible experience, avoid late lunch hours and visit during peak dining times when food rotation is faster.

That alone will probably make a huge difference in overall satisfaction.
