If you’re planning a trip to Japan and wondering how to spend five days in Fukuoka, this itinerary might help.
I recently visited Fukuoka with my family and spent five days exploring the city at a relaxed pace. Instead of rushing between tourist attractions, we focused on great local food, shopping, cafés, and peaceful places to walk.
Since Fukuoka is compact and easy to get around, it turned out to be one of the best destinations for a family vacation or a first trip to Japan.
Here’s our actual 5-day itinerary.

We kept our first day simple after arriving in Japan.
